Decision Support Tool to Predict Panicle Initiation in Aerobic Rice

نویسندگان

چکیده

Aerobic rice cultivation offers the potential to reduce irrigated water use. A multitude of challenges, such as cold sterility, drought stress, and labor shortages, limit its adoption in temperate rice-growing regions. Increasing duration extent soil moisture tension between irrigation events has been demonstrated slow crop development. Delaying panicle initiation (PI) beyond optimal window can expose nighttime temperatures during sensitive early pollen microspore, severely reducing yield. Tools assist Australian farmers researchers management aerobic ensure PI occurs do not yet exist. Using data collected from an experiment conducted Australia 2020–2021 2021–2022, a predictive model was built forecasting based on timing irrigation. Estimation area hourly basis cumulative evapotranspiration with rainfall subtracted pre-emergent PI, defined deficit integral, used account for frequency, duration, events. The relationship integral number days (R2 = 0.91) build predict root mean square error 1.8 validating set. Furthermore, example is provided how be decision support tool growers schedule timely manner. This will increase likelihood high-yielding may enhance water-saving cultivation.

Designing a decision support system to predict the success of research centers with discriminatory analysis DEA

Research centers have an important place in promoting science and technology nationwide. On the other hand, given the limitations in allocating the funds and the facilities needed to establish these centers, it is important to decide on the selection of priority centers. In this decision - making process, several factors, such as requirements, priorities and strategies, capabilities, and balanc...

Clinical Decision Support System: An Effective Tool to Detect and Manage Drug-Laboratory Interactions

Lack of proper linkage between a patient’s medications and the results of laboratory tests can lead to common medication errors called drug-laboratory interactions (DLIs). DLIs are among the major types of preventable medication errors in the treatment process. Application of a clinical decision support system (CDSS) for physicians and other health care providers to decrease DLIs can effectivel...

Down-regulation of RFL, the FLO/LFY homolog of rice, accompanied with panicle branch initiation.

FLORICAULA (FLO) of Antirrhinum and LEAFY (FLY) of Arabidopsis regulate the formation of floral meristems. To examine whether same mechanisms control floral development in distantly related species such as grasses, we isolated RFL, FLO-LFY homolog of rice, and examined its expression and function. Northern analysis showed that RFL is expressed predominantly in very young panicle but not in matu...

Quantitative trait loci mapping of panicle traits in rice

In this study 90 individuals of recombinant inbred lines (RILs) were developed by crossing subspecies of japonica rice cultivar, ‘Nagdong’ and an indica type cultivar, ‘Cheongcheong’. These individuals were used to identify the quantitative trait loci of panicle traits using SSR markers. A genetic linkage map was constructed using one hundred fifty four simple sequence repeat ...
